Conveniently located 7 miles east of Aberystwyth on the A44, overlooking the beautiful Melindwr valley, visitors will find Arfon House B & B next door to the Druid Inn.

The nearby (5 mins by car) Nant yr Arian forest centre, offers many splendid walks, Red Kite watching and cycling. The Kites may be viewed in very large numbers, especially at feeding time, which is a truly stunning experience, not to be missed!
For mountain bikers there are trails for all levels of experience in spectacular scenery, but don’t take our word for it, this is what Mountain Biking Wales says on its web site “Nant-yr-Arian forest sits high on the mountains just inland from Aberystwyth, and offers stunning high-level wilderness riding. With trails heading out into the epic scenery of the Cambrian Mountains, this is a fantastic area for those who like their riding rugged. For the less energetic, enjoy a visit to Llewernog silver mine, a trip to the beach, fishing in one of the many well stocked lakes and rivers nearby or a ramble in countryside rich in natural and industrial history. Or simply a trip to the shops in Aberystwyth or Machynlleth.
The University town of Aberystwyth has much to offer visitors including, University Arts Centre, Welsh National Library, cinema, craft shops, galleries and a museum.

The Druid Inn (next door) was voted CAMRA pub of year for Ceredigion for 2003, 2008, 2009 and again 2013 a good selection of fine real ales is always available as well as all the usual drinks from the well stocked bar.
Lunch and evening meals can be taken at the Druid from the extensive menu of home made food, which caters for all tastes and has a range of vegetarian options.

Price inclusive of the full British breakfast £30 per person per night B&B. A £5 supplement is charged for single occupancy. Discounts are available for groups.
