DEATH OF A BARD
A SHORT TRIBUTE TO PETER DAVIES
Peter Davies, the bard of Goginan, died at the age of 54 . He was a real local character, well known in West Wales for his outstanding achievements at the National Eisteddfod. His poetry won him more than thirty chairs in a long career. He frequently entertained both linguistic communities in the Druid with his passionate recitations. His tragic passing will be felt deeply by those who were privileged to have known him.
