We have a double bill featuring two great bands:

Gwirfoddolwyr Plus Blaidd

Gwirfoddolwyr first starting playing in late 2008 in their first term in Penweddig.They won the Urdd eisteddfod in May/June 2009 as a year 7 band.They played Mid Mad last year and opened Castell Roc as well.They won a competition on S4C in 2010 called Ysgol Roc which was in X factor format beating another 5 bands in the televised finals.Their major gig though has to be Goginan Festival!!!!!!!.The band comprises of Glyn lead guitar and vocals, Ellis rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Geraint on bass guitar and Gethin on drums.

Blaidd are a new band featuring ex members of The Poppies, Rogues and The Dancing Bullets. We sing our own songs in Welsh but play English covers by bands like The Clash, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Motorhead, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash and so on. It’s a three piece band featuring Sam Rhys James on guitar and lead vocal, Garyson Price on Bass and backing vocals and Roy Price Jr on Drums.
